X FACTOR winner Alexandra Burke, pictured, has been added to this year’s Mouth of the Tyne Festival.
The 2008 champ will appear alongside British soul star Beverley Knight at the festival, which takes place in both South and North Shields.
The pair will headline the festival’s outdoor evening concert at Tynemouth Priory and Castle on Friday, July 8.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 9am and will cost £25 each, plus a booking fee.

The Mouth of the Tyne Festival is a four-day celebration of free world-class street theatre and pageant, live music and special one-off performances on both sides of the river.
