Chris Ramsey confirmed for Middlesbrough Town Hall

The star of BBC2’s brand new sitcom Hebburn is coming to Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt on Saturday 17 November.

Chris Ramsey is currently taking the comedy world by storm after being nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly Perrier) last year.

Now, his eagerly anticipated new show Feeling Lucky is a welcome Town Hall return for Chris after a clutch of storming gigs at the Crypt’s hugely popular Big Mouth Comedy Club.

Already known to millions of comedy fans thanks to regular appearances on Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), Chris is also set to star alongside Vic Reeves in brand new BBC2 sitcom Hebburn – the first North East based sitcom since the Likely Lads.

As well as live and TV appearances, Chris is fast becoming a familiar voice on the radio, with regular guest slots on Radio 1’s Review Show and 5Live’s Seven Day Sunday.

Peter Vincent of promoters Ten Feet Tall said: “It’s fantastic to have Chris playing the Crypt. It seems like yesterday he was an enthusiastic new act doing the shorter spots for us, and now he’s commanding bigger and bigger venues in his own right due to his meteoric success.

“I saw his last show, which was fantastic, so expect a corker of a new show from him here.”
